In cooperation with Mojang, publisher of the the famous and succussful game Minecraft, Oxeye Game Studios  now releases “Cobalt” (official website: http://playcobalt.com/ ).

On first sight Cobalt lookls like a classic 2D Action Jump’n Run game but it really is much more - and more exciting and funnier anyway.

In Cobalt players of course can jump and run – not too surprising when it is a Jump’n Run game – but there is also a lot “of running, jumping, rolling, shooting, throwing, dancing,  hacking, rolling, flying, sliding, climbing, looting, deflecting, racing, passing, scoring … generally doing missions, much more and of course having lots of fun.
In addition to that there are different multiplayer options, which allow to play against other players in a death match, loot match, race match, or Capture the Plug matches. Of course there is a coop modus too.
With the game comes a level editor to create your own maps. Feel free to unfold your full creative potential. You fantasy and skills decide if it is an easy going level or an impossible mission.
The game now is in its Alpha Phase and be played fully. There will be improvements and new features in near future. We keep you updated about this.
