Service Price Quality How many episodes is this again? I mean have they come right out and steatd that each season is going to encompass 1 book? If so I may have to stop watching. Seriously, I cannot handle this frantic pace with which they are blasting through everything. Of course, this is exactly what everything in Hollywood is now: Bite sized ritalin laced snippets of thought meant to cater to a degenerated generation of simpletons incapable of maintaining any semblance of focus or attention on anything longer than a text message. And this is from someone who while not an extreme fan of Martin's style, by any measure, I do appreciate the scope with which his tale unfolds. It takes time. Going back to in the moment:Catelyn was a moron in the book. In fact I remember thinking while reading it that the entire point of Catelyn became Martin's use of the classic "panicky woman" scenario. . . kind of like in Scream. . . "the dumb blonde running upstairs where there's no escape". Her move was dumb. Not just in a "Stark's are not built for the Game" but a "that was the dumbest shoot from the hip in a moment of panic" type way. Throughout the books I continually (and not in a retrospective way) found myself thinking Catelyn and Sansa were the stereotypical "pretty girls with zero brains". I despised them in the books and to be frank I found them insultingly stupid. The best part of this episode was the Eyrie scene. They just so nailed the crazy like you said JRo. Great review guys!
